I picked up these spiked hoops at Forever21 in NYC when I was visiting for a client's fashion presentation. The skulls are Betsey Johnson earrings I found on ebay.

I found both of these shirts at Buffalo Exchange in Montrose for under $15 each. I have an addiction to collared shirts.

I originally bought a hot pink hair highlighter from my hairdresser, Kari Lahde, for $12, but found this magenta highlighter at Sally Beauty Supply for under $5 and it compliments my hair much better. They have a gold and dark blue as well.

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals - Paris (Ooh La La)

Can't stop listening to this song. I love me some Grace Potter. She is a rock goddess.

Last Night's Outfit

Went for the girl gang look at last night's party. I took a simple nude tank from XXI and paired it with a simple vintage, black maxi skirt. Then I found an outgrown Old Navy denim jacket, cut off the sleeves, and added a pair of spiked hoop earrings and gladiator sandals (both from XXI.) Here's a similar look:

Waiting for these adorable Betsey Johnson "Baxterr" Rain Boots to arrive. Originally $70, I found a brand new pair on ebay for $45 with free shipping. I can't wait to wear these on my college campus next year. Walking from class to class in puddles is irritating when wearing flats, but these gorgeous boots are going to save me.

There's something about chopping off your hair that feels very freeing. I'm incredibly happy with my new cut, thanks to Hair by Kari Lahde at Courtyard Salons in Houston.

The Dahlia Dress

The Dahlia Dress

When I began my internship with Danika Daly PR, Alisha Trimble was one of the very first clients I designed a press release for. It has been nearly six months since and I just logged into Polyvore to find a message from the lovely designer herself, asking for me to join her mini editor and use her pieces in my sets. Of course I am thrilled to do so as I love her work and am beyond flattered that she took the time to contact me herself. Here is one of my favorite pieces, the Dahlia Dress. You can find more of her designs at alishatrimble.wix.com. Enjoy!

Inspiration:

I like the combination of navy with a neon pop. I would not have thought to put those colors together, but as soon as I came across this look, I fell in love. I'll need to recreate this color combination.

Just got these adorable Crystal Skull Stud Earrings by Betsey Johnson on Ebay for $.99 with free shipping. I have a sad addiction to Ms. Betsey and am amazed I found such an insane deal. At least my rainy day of online shopping isn't killing my bank account.
